       Yes, the ADM3058E should be compatible with hot-plug applications since its bus pins are high-Z when the VDD2 supply is off.  When the VDD2 supply is present, the bus pins will be in the recessive state until both VDD1 is present and TxD is asserted low.  Connecting the ADM3058 to an active bus when in either the high-Z or recessive states should not disturb the bus.
