Product Number: LTC6820
The LTC6820 datasheet in figure 19 shows the transformer on the cable/media side and the choke on the chip side. However, ethernet does this the other way around and is the convention for these combo transformers like the HX1188NL. Is there a reason the choke isn't on the media side and/or does it matter for the LTC6820? If the choke can go on the media cable side, then one could use an RJ45 jack with integrated magnetics (or reuse existing ethernet schematics and layout).
