    Hi ,
    

    I just want to make sure about using  CAN-FD on a CAN2.0 Tranceiver like ADM3051, in essense CAN-FD is high speed with Flexible data rate .
    

    However if you still run CAN-FD at 1Mbit can you still use a CAN2.0AB traceiver? also the reverse question, can you use a CAN2.0AB  with CAN-FD tranceiver?

      A CAN-FD transceiver can be used in a CAN2.0B or CAN2.0A network. CAN-FD compliant transceivers will be backwards compatible. The reverse may not necessarily be true. For a CAN FD network, I recommend evaluating the LTC2875 which is available in an 8L-SOIC_N pin-compatible with the ADM3051.
