LTC 2872 is in RS485 half duplex operation with transmitter and receiver both are Enable and Sent Tx data out. Analyzed that TX data being sent out is also repeated back on the RX is that acceptable.


LTC 2872 is in RS485 half duplex operation with transmitter Enable and receiver is disable Sent Tx data out.     To help debug what you are seeing, could you share the state of some of the configuration inputs to the LTC2872? 
    

    How are the 485/#232, RXEN, DXEN, TE485 pins configured for each channel, and how are the H/#F, LB and FEN pins configured for the whole transceiver?
