CAN ADUM241D1BRIZ used for level translation from +3.3V to -3.3V

Hi,

I need to interface Host SPI lines to configure the Analog IC where host IO is powered with +3.3V and Analog IC is powered with -3.3V.

Can you please confirm whether the circuit attached can be used for this application and if any application note are reference design is available for same please share.

  • Hi,

An digital isolator can have a fixed voltage difference between GND1 and GND2. This would of course defeat the galvanic isolation typically provided, but the isolator would function, and it would allow levels to be shifted between domains. What an application cannot do is place GND2 at a higher voltage potential than VDD2

I assumed the voltage VCC_RX_3V3N is greater than GND... Is that the case in this application?
