Hello,
The CTRL pin is described as controlling the remote from the local. What does the local control?
I'm using the local and the remote CTRL pins open. Is there any problem?

Kazu

Hi Kazu,
Through the CTRL pin, the LTC4331 provides an additional signal to control a remote device’s input pin so whatever you send on the local side LTC4331's CTRL pin will propagate to the remote side LTC4331's CTRL pin after the differential link is established. If you don't plan to use this pin for anything, you can float it.
