I use two TSN Evaluation Kits as part of my student research project in order to learn how TSN works.
My test setup is similar to the one shown in the Quick Start Guide. The only difference is that i use Iperf instead of the Profinet devices to transmit data. During the test, i noticed that the data can only be transferred with a maximum bandwidth of 5 Mbps. Afterwards i tested the data transfer from a TSN switch port to the host port of only one TSN board. The result was that i could transfer data from host port to TSN port with the full bandwidth of 100Mbps, but from the TSN port to the host port only at 5Mbps (as mentioned before). An evaluation with Wireshark showed that almost every TCP packet was requested again when transferring data from TSN port to host port. I have already changed the network cables an the network cards and i also updated the firmware but the problem still exists.
I hope you can help me.
The TSN Evaluation kit is just that. An evaluation kit. The 5Mbps sounds a bit surprising to me but it does not sound completely outrageous.

The long pull in the data transfer is the fido1100 doing the stream translation. So what you are seeing is not surprising, but again the Eval Kits are simply a way to verify the fido5100/5200 can support the features of TSN.
Thank you very much.
