About ADIN1300

Question

1. Can the Generic Driver of the Linux kernel drive this chip? 
 2. Does the driver provided on the official website support linux3.10 kernel? 
 3. Can the chip be connected to EMAC?

Hi Geoff, 
 
 Yes the generic Linux driver can be used with the ADIN1300 as long as the only registers being used are the first 16 generic registers. 
 The current Linux driver available is compatible with version 4.19 and is not backwards compatible. 
 The ADIN1300 can be connected to multiple MAC interfaces such as MII, RMII and RGMII.
