About ADIN1300

Thread Summary

The generic Linux driver can support the ADIN1300 chip using the first 16 generic registers. The current driver is compatible with Linux kernel 4.19 and not backwards compatible with earlier versions. The ADIN1300 can connect to multiple MAC interfaces including MII, RMII, and RGMII.

  • Hi Geoff,

Yes the generic Linux driver can be used with the ADIN1300 as long as the only registers being used are the first 16 generic registers.

The current Linux driver available is compatible with version 4.19 and is not backwards compatible.

The ADIN1300 can be connected to multiple MAC interfaces such as MII, RMII and RGMII.

    Best Regards,

    Mark
