Analog Devices Ethernet PHY products come with an interactive easy to install and use Software GUI. The Software GUI is for use with the Analog Devices MDIO interface dongle which is included in the evaluation kit. Each evaluation kit includes 2 x ADIN1300 evaluation boards and 2 x MDIO interface dongles.
The MDIO Interface dongle has an ADuCM3029 microcontroller and FT232RQ for UART to USB data transfer. Simply install the FTDI drivers and the Ethernet PHY software, connect a USB-micro cable to the MDIO interface dongle, power the ADIN1300 evaluation board from +5 V and launch the software GUI to get started on your Ethernet PHY exploration journey! Don't forget to connect your Ethernet Cable!
