The EVAL-ADIN1200FMCZ allows evaluation of the key features of the ADIN1200 robust, industrial, low latency 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps Ethernet physical layer (PHY). Each Evaluation Kit contains two EVAL-ADIN1200FMCZ boards and 2 MDIO interface dongles. User must supply USB-micro cables, Ethernet cable and power supply to complete the setup.
The EVAL-ADIN1200FMCZ is powered by a single, external, 5 V supply rail. All chip supplies are regulated from the 5 V rail providing supply rails required for AVDD3P3 and VDDIO. The user can connect an FPGA to the FMC connector on the back side of the board as the MAC controller. For the MDIO control, the ADI MDIO interface Dongle allows user interface to the 2-wire MDIO interface via the ADI SW GUI.
