Does the ADIN1200 have a backoff algorithm?

Q1:When auto-mdix fails at boot time, are there any workarounds such as back-off algorithms? 
 Q2:Can Auto-MDIX be used even when Auto-Negotiation is disabled?

 Q1. Please refer to Table 1 on ADIN1200 Silicon Anomaly (Rev. 0) 
 Q2. yes, Auto MDI/MDI-X resolution can be used even auto-negotiation is disabled in the PHY and/or its link partner.
