Hello,
I have an ADIN1300 set up in unmanaged mode and hooked up to a KSZ9477 and everything works perfectly at 1G.
When I change the PHY Configuration using external resistors to other non-1G modes (I've tried rows 5, 9 and 14 on page 32 of the data sheet), the ADIN1300 blinks establishing a link and all partner devices I've tried also "blink yellow" to indicate 100M, but there's no actual data communication. The link hangs for a while then returns an error. The intention is to use the ADIN1300 unmanaged, so the board is not even equipped for handling the Management Interface at the moment. Is there anything I can try without having to resort to the SMI?
Thanks for any insights.

Hello Dennis,
Apologies for slow response, this got missed as it ended in a different forum section.
Can you please share your schematic?
On the KSZ switch, have you changed the port configuration on the switch side to 100M also? The KSZ doesn't automatically match the speed of the PHY, this needs to be configured through configuration strapping or control register. (see page 69 of the switch datasheet).
best regards,
Catherine
Hi Catherine,
No worries, and thanks.
Yeah it seems I overlooked the RGMII port settings on the switch. All set now, thanks again!
Best,
