    Hello,
    



    I want to design a testcase for the ADIN1100 to analyse the APL technology and i have ordered the DEMO-ADIN1100D2Z. In the datasheet it says I need a 
    

    10BASE-T1L data only device, SPoE PD device or APL powered device. I have looked at dozens of websites of manufactures but i can't find any of the needed devices...
    

    Could you give a few specific options for powered devices which I can connect to the demoboard? Or can I analyse it with something else? I am really stuck..

      What kind of evaluation or testing are you looking to perform? To do evaluation and analysis of the data layer, you may not need an actual APL device, but it all depends on what you want to do. 
      

      To do some evaluation, you may just use two media converters (either EVAL-ADIN1100EBZ or DEMO-ADIN1100D2Z) and connect them via their T1L interfaces through a single pair of wires, and connect two conventional ethernet devices to each (at the RJ45 port). For instance, your laptop to an IP camera, or your laptop to a wired network.
      

      More details on the type of evaluation will help us to guide you to the right solution.
