ADIN1300 drive strength RGMII

Category: Hardware
Product Number: ADIN1300

Hello,

in the datasheet it is mentioned that it's possible to change the drive strength of the RGMII data and clock with 2 bits of the GE_RGMII_RX_DRV and GE_CLK_DRV registers.

the max and min current of the output buffers is not mentioned in the datasheet.

I would like to know the output drive current for each configuration (00,01,10,11) ?

Best Regards,

Thomas

  • Hi Thomas,

The GE_RGMII_IO_CNTRL register controls the rise and fall times of the RGMII receive buffers, please see the table below for the rise and fall times for each of the settings at 1.8V and 3.3V for different load capacitances. The default setting of 0x1 is the is most commonly used.
