ADIN1200 magnetics-ICM Phy side center tap

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: ADIN1200

ADIN1200 data sheet page 38 mentions ADIN1200 is voltage mode and that each of the center tap pins on the transformer have separate 100nF caps to ground.  We initially planned to use a Bel SI-58008-F part as the ICM/magjack.  This has a single common PHY side center tap as do most Bel magjacks.  Cable side center taps are exposed for PoE connections.  What is the downside of using common CT on the PHY side for voltage mode PHY?  Is coupling of common mode between TX and RX the problem?  Are we advised (strongly or otherwise) against using such a jack?  Thank you.
