ADIN1300 1000BASE-KX on MDI

Hello,

We have an application where we need to interface 1000BASE-KX to RGMII or SGMII. Can the ADIN1300 perform this task? It looks like 1000BASE-KX is mentioned in the Energy Efficient Ethernet Capability Registers in the datasheet, but it's not explicitly listed in the headline specs. I saw a similar question on searching, but it didn't seem to be answered.

    Hello Chris,

    Thanks for your question, the ADIN1300 doesn't support 1000BASE-KX, so wouldn't be a fit for what you are trying to do. The Energy Efficient register you refer to shows read-only capability of the PHY. The bit field related to 1000BASE-KX always returns 0 as the part doesn't support.
