What is the reason for this inquiry?

As we are facing gaps in the delivery of the component we are looking for shortterm availability at alternative routes.

This way we are offered LTC4271 with date code 1209

Who is offering data code 1209?  Is this a legitimate source for ADI parts?  If these are parts from any time after the release date then there should be no issues with them.
