one hole missing, and a broken cable, and one w/o a cable, leaves 8 spots for phone chargers. Is it a spoiler if I mention the answer here? First time using this site.
Sure, you can post your answer here and then we can all discuss. I didn't look close enough to see that one outlet only had one hole and that a cord was broken. Good eye!

By making the connections as indicated by the arrows, one can see a maximum of 8 chargers can be powered and operate simultaneously...
