I have the AD9117 Evalboard along with the FMC adaptor board and is using it in conjunction with the Xilinx ML605 board.

In the instructions page it mentions to download a AD911x.bit and AD911x*.hex file. I downloaded the reference design software for the AD9116 included on the page and I can find the bit file, but not the hex file.
First question is : Why are we reprogramming the PIC? Then it's where is the hex file?
The hex file can be found in the archive from the Downloads section, it is called "AD9116_SPI_Adapter.hex".
The PIC needs to be reprogrammed because the eval board was designed to work with a different system . To get it working with the Xilinx ML605 the functionality of the PIC needs to change.
