daq2+kcu105 send data to DAC

Question

I just got the FMCDAQ2 and KCU105 board. I want to create the simple wave generator, just finished read and implemented the HDL reference design to daq2+kcu105 board. I used the bare metal application (no-os). my question is, how do I send my own data to DAC parts ? Where do I must store the data ? in memory ? how do I load them ? need the tutorial please

Hello 
 Unfortunately we don’t have any tutorials for this. 
 For a wave generator you have software and HDL options: 
 1. Store/Generate you're data with software (no-Os), example ad9361/dac_core , your data can be stored in LUT, written into RAM, then send with the DMA through a cyclic buffer (util_dacfifo) to the DAC, this path is implemented in the HDL reference design. 
 We don’t have no-Os support for the DMA, so in this case you have to create the software control part of the DMA yourself, as a reference see ad9361 , This may also help Integrating util_dacfifo into a high speed DAC FMC design , FMCOMMS1 - ZedBoard seting up DMA channel . 
 2. Implement your signal generator in HDL and integrate it into the system, see more about interfacing the DAC on wiki. 
 Or you can add the features you want (generating or reading some data) in the dac_core ( axi_ad9144_channel.v ). Try not to modify the functionality of the core (add your data path in the mux ).
