Gen waveform with No-OS design with FMCOMMS4 and Zynq7000

Sinewaves yes. Everything else no.
Fmcomms4 is an RF(quadrature modulated output) device, So anything besides sinewaves will be filtered out, there are a few threads regarding this on EZ.
In no-OS you can load data in RAM and send it with the DMA. There is a DMA example for this or dac buffer output, something like that.
In PL there is a DDS inside the axi_ad9361, which can be configured by software in regards to (scale, frequency for a dual tone per channel)

According to your answer, just only sine-waves could be used with this board (FMCOMMS4)!?

Are you sure? Because I have seen the references design (in the SD card) booting with the SD Card.

We can use IIO-Oscillocope with many type of waveform which can load into RAM with DMA?

So if yes with the references designs, why not with no-OS?

A square wave is composed of multiple sinewaves of different frequencies, right?
The RF designs you will get a few filters. Simply consider a pass band filters that will drop part of your high frequency sinewaves and low frequency sinewaves of the square wave. So in the end you can't transmit the squarwave because it's information will be filtered out.
The examples above are for RF.
You can use IIO-Oscilloscope to test those example with no-OS too.
