When using GnuRadio with my ADRV9009-ZU11EG SOM, I'm seeing discontinuities in the received data. They happen whenever the buffer restarts, regardless of buffer size.
Sample rate: 245.76 Msps
LO Frequency: 2300 MHz
Signal generator input: 2300.1 MHz
Is this a known behavior or is there something I can do to get a consistent signal?
Those sample rates far exceed gigabit Ethernet, so successive buffers will be in overflow creating these discontinuities. Only the first N buffers will be contiguous where N is the number of kernel buffers set in the context. This usually defaults to 4.
I'm seeing this when I run GnuRadio locally on the SOM as well--without any gigabit Ethernet interfaces in the chain.
On the IIO Device source, the "IIO context URI" is set to "local:"
Is there a bottleneck within the SOM too?
You are unlikely to keep up in software, especially on an ARM.
