I cannot find any documentation about the AD9234-1000EBZ. Do I need an external clock and Ref clock for this ADC?
Is this compatible with the ZCU102?
I want to control the AD9234-1000EBZ with the ZCU102, I don't need a application, I want to write it myself.
Hi,This board was made by High-Speed ADCs you can ask there for more info regarding this board. https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/ad9680-1000ebz

This project/board is not supported on FPGA Reference designs. So you have to do some research and dev yourself, to port it on zcu102.
I see that the AD9234 is similar to AD9680. Also, this was discussed on https://ez.analog.com/fpga/f/q-a/31783/best-way-to-start-ad9234-1000-ebz-project
The compatibility should be checked by yourself according to https://wiki.analog.com/resources/fpga/docs/hdl/porting_project_quick_start_guide#quick_compatibility_check
Regarding the clock, in the schematic, I see that there is a clock generator on the board. The clock chip handles the reference clock and sysref for device and FPGA. Depending on your requirements, you might need the external clock option. Take a look at:https://wiki.analog.com/resources/fpga/peripherals/jesd204https://wiki.analog.com/resources/fpga/docs/hdlAndrei
