We are generating signals using FMCDAQ2 with KC705 for our project.
Our requirement is to synchronize the FPGA+DAQ2 system using external clock.
I am using microblaze (reference design) design for MATLAB/Simulink model.
Is it possible to change clock configuration to external clock?
In my understanding it's not possible. All the clocks (see DAQ2 clocking) are generated by AD9523-1, which has a reference clock of 125 MHz provided by an onboard crystal oscillator. What you can do is to change the crystal to obtain other master clock frequencies.
Please email@example.com correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks for the response. I am waiting for firstname.lastname@example.org's reply.
Istvan is right. DAQ2 wasn't designed to accept an external clock.
You could try to remove Y1 and connect your clock on pins 4 and 5...but there's a risk of damaging the board
Thanks for the response.
