I am interested to buy the ADI AD-FMCADC2-EBZ board. However, I have few queries about the board.
Thanks and regards,
Hi Lijo,https://wiki.analog.com/resources/fpga/peripherals/jesd204?s=jesd&s=license#how_to_obtain_a_licenseWe support Arria 10GX with daq2 https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/hdl/tree/master/projects/daq2https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/ad-fmcdaq2-ebz
Thanks for the quick response. DAQ2 is not suitable for me as I need ADC sampling rate more than 2 GSPS. If I have a JESD204B IP, can I use the ADI AD-FMCADC2-EBZ board with any FPGA board that has FMC connectivity?
Sorry I was thinking of DAQ2.What do you mean you have a JESD204B IP? Did you develop one?You have to check the schematics first, not all board are standard compliant. See if the location for transceiver and clock pins match between FMCADC2 and Arria 10 GX. Probably they do but is better to be safe.We have projects ported on Arria 10 GX, and it will be easier for us to support you on it. On the other hand, we don't support VC709, so things may get more complicated along the way; we don't support the GTHE2 transceivers(VC709) in our JESD204 flow.I would recommend starting with the ADI JESD204B to validate the design, it will not cost you anything more at this point and it will be easier on our side to support you.For more tips see https://wiki.analog.com/resources/fpga/docs/hdl/porting_project_quick_start_guide
Thank you very much
