Meet Devrin: Our 100,000th Member:

Meet Devrinwho joined EngineerZone on August 29. We had the privilege of asking Devrin a few questions to get to know him.

What's your role?

“I'm Devrin Talen, electrical engineering manager at Vuzix Corporation. Vuzix is a leading designer, manufacturer, and marketer of Smart Glasses and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies and products for the enterprise, medical, defense, and consumer markets.

Our company’s products include head-mounted smart personal display and wearable computing devices that offer users a portable high-quality viewing experience, provide solutions for mobility, wearable displays and augmented reality, as well OEM waveguide optical components and display engines.”

Why did you join EngineerZone?

“I joined to look for support on a development board we were prototyping. Forums are a great resource for engineers looking to connect with others.”

What are your hobbies?

“Outside of work, I'm busy taking care of my two small children and working on our house. We live in Western New York, right near the Finger Lakes with lots of great parks, breweries, and vineyards to visit (at least during the summer months!).”
