All About Community at Embedded World

The Embedded World Exhibition and Conference is an amazing event bringing together passionate attendees who are shaping the future, solving complex problems, and exploring intelligent solutions together. It’s about building the global community of embedded developers and ADI is excited to be part. We are committed to the community and new this year we are sharing our intelligent solutions for a secure, connected future. We can’t wait to talk with you to learn about what problems you are trying to solve, the complexities you face, and to find solutions where ADI can help. It’s going to be a busy week, so here’s a quick list of ideas where to start.

Keynote & Sessions

While we have many technical experts presenting from ADI (full list here) I’d be remiss if I didn’t highlight a few.

  • Don’t miss the keynote on Wednesday from 10:15-10:45am local time with ADI’s Fiona Treacy. You’ll learn how you can unlock the power of the Intelligent Edge from the factory floor – it’s all about digitizing, connecting, and using data in such a way that creates energy efficient production environments. Get real-life examples and ideas that you can use to create an intelligent edge facility.
  • Ever wonder how to reduce complexity in embedded systems? You won’t want to miss the session on Wednesday from 12:00-12:30pm with Dr. Rob Oshana. Hear direct insight how you can eliminate friction and the benefits of open source communities. Don’t miss the Q&A that follows directly after this session (from 12:30-12:45pm) where you can ask Rob and panel experts your questions.

Building with Zephyr

You might have heard that ADI is a Platinum member of the Zephyr Project and that would be correct! Don’t miss the opportunity to connect with our experts in our demos and technical sessions.

Technical Zephyr Session

  • On Tuesday, April 9th from 11:00-11:30am join Jason Murphy for his session in the Connectivity Solutions | Single Pair Ethernet session: Revolutionizing Industrial IoT: Enabling Real-time Secure Connectivity to the Edge with Single-Pair Ethernet and Zephyr OS. At the end of the track, from 12:30-12:45pm join the panel of experts, ask them questions, and connect.

Zephyr Demos

  • ADI Booth | Hall 4A: Booth 360
Find our experts in the Secure Industrial Network Connectivity demo where you can explore our latest solutions over a 10BASE-T1L network and discover how the MAXQ1065 security coprocessor can be used with ADI microcontrollers in the context of building sensing and control. See our software enablement and solutions such as secured HTTPS server and how Zephyr MQTT clients can be seamlessly and securely deployed to accelerate your development journey.
  • Zephyr Project Booth | Hall 4: Booth 170
Find ADI experts in the Zephyr booth ready to connect about how ADI software is enabling rapid development of secure, real-time, Ethernet-connected industrial edge devices with Zephyr’s software ecosystem. Don’t forget to collect a Zephyr Project sticker!

Software & Tools Demos

I am sure your schedule is filling up – and we have a lot of demos to pick from in the ADI booth (hall 4A | 360) so do try to make your way around our entire booth. To highlight a few:

  • Explore signals and systems without the need to purchase expensive lab equipment in the Educational Platforms & Beyond demo. Ask questions about ADI and what we are working on with Arduino!
  • LTspice 24 Simulator is another powerful, fast, and free SPICE simulator software, schematic capture, and waveform viewer with enhancements and models for improving the simulation of analog circuits.
  • Looking for a way to improve stability and reliability of the grid, to avoid negative effects on equipment while being able to perform predictive maintenance? Learn how you can diagnose and detect failing equipment faster in the Power Quality Monitoring demo.
  • Explore prototyping for advanced SDR applications with the Jupiter RF Agile SDR-in-a-box platform. The platform supports SDR apps from early concept to real-world use cases. Don’t miss learning about how multiple systems can be synchronized for large MIMO applications.

It’s going to be a full, exciting, and educational week! I hope you have time to explore all that ADI has to offer. While I won’t be at the event, I’d love to hear from you - what’s on your list? Please share pictures, find me on social – let’s connect!
