I'm reading values from ADE7878A on phase A and I'm getting opposite VAR signal value. On a test grid, when I turn the air conditioner on, which is an inductive load, the reactive power becomes negative, indicating a capacitive load. What could be wrong?
Below, there is a plot of the power readings. When it increases is due to the compressor activation (inductive load). When it happens, the VAR becomes negative.
