ADE9078 Board Verification

Question

Having run into a PCB soldering issue (not visible) on the communications, I'm looking for how to verify the analog connections. I would expect that I might be able to read the DC value applied to the V and I inputs but it's not obvious what registers would return those values. I really don't want to be in a situation where I need to apply values to all the analog inputs with appropriate frequency and phase in order to check individual connections.

If you want to use dc just to verify you will need to disable the high pass filter to allow dc to pass. 
 config0 bit 3. any zero cross based measurements will not work. try reading IRMS and VRMS registers. 
 you could also use the waveform sampling registers before the high pass filter

I do use ac signals from my sound card from time to time to test boards. 
 You could also use a 9v ac transformer(wall wart type) with a voltage divider to feed ac to the board to see if it is working.
