ADE7903 Crystal

Hi Niolp,

The crystal we use on the evaluation board has a DigiKey Part Number of X1089-ND and I would recommend using this crystal.

The specifications of the crystal you mention look to be very similar to the recommended one, therefore even the one you mention should be ok. The recommended one above has been used with the ADE7903 with no issues.

I have a few other questions about the ADE7903.

1) For a single phase meter, what type of shunt resistor should i use (regular two lead resistor, 4 lead or kelvin configuration) in order to sense current?

2) Is it necessary to create a voltage divider between neutral and phase wires to satisfy the 500mV input voltage in V1P? or if i follow the test circuit stated in the datasheet with those three resistor in series is enough?

3) Are the diodes(TS4148) needed for normal operation of the circuit, or those are for testing only?
