ADE7854 VCP and VN Pins

I have a question on the ADE7854,   I have a
design that’s currently using the VCP and VN pins as an additional current
sensing transformer input, basically I am using it in the same way as the IA
and IN pins, is there any issue with this?

I am about to resuse the part in the same configuration and
want to confirm that this is okay, its not clear in the data sheet.

    Hi Amboyle,

Are you using any of the voltage inputs (VAP or VBP) for a voltage measurement?

What current sensor are you using in your application? Is it a CT?

I could recommend the ADE7816, this is very similar to the ADE7854 except that it has one voltage input and 6 current inputs which allows you to retain all the metrology functionality like energies.
