isolated ade9000 + adum6404

Dear analog,

I'm creating a custom board with a power meter.  for security I'm creating different planes and connect the ade via an isolator.

For cost approach I decided to use an ADUM6404 that integrates isopwer so I can "move"  data and power with a single chip.

Limit of the 6404 is the speed, it runs at 4Mhz  speed max.  Does it works with the ADE or I have to switch to a different solution ?

Is there any test ever been made about compatibility of this 2 components ?

Thanks

Gio

ADUM6404 gradeA  has a max of 100ns the grade C has 60ns  typ  about 55ns.   These numbers need to double as the sclk goes one way and the miso goes the other. This is 2 delays that can shift the miso data referenced to the spi sampling CLK in the MCU.

At 4Mhz the period is 250ns  typ shift x2 is 100ns the max shift x2  200ns   I think 4 Mhz might be to fast. If you look at our eval board schematic we can run up to 20Mhz.

Pick an isolator with the lowest prop delay like the ADUM1201
