We have accidentally loaded the wrong crystal onto our ADE9000 metering boards, and cannot easily replace them.
We have fitted 12.288MHz as the ADE9000 crystal, instead of the recommended 24.576MHz crystal, thus the ADE9000 is running at half its typical operating frequency.
Is it possible to change the internal crystal divider to allow the ADE9000 to operate correctly at 12.288MHz? I note that there are several undocumented registers, including CONFIG5, which may allow this type of chip reconfiguration.
I realise that this is a long shot, but any help that successfully achieves this without a hardware change would save us a great deal of time effort and cost.
Sorry but no there is no way to run the ADE9000 as specified without a 24.576Mhz crystal.
