Can anyone provide the information about measuring voltage and frequency in 400 Hz line systems. That is, Can we use ADE7752 or any other 3 phase IC with 400 Hz - 3 Phase - 115 VAC system without building any external circuits?
The ADE chips supports 50 Hz, 60 Hz standard frequencies of electrical power. It is possible, BUT, we cannot guarantee the accuracy based on the specs on a frequency of 400 Hz, and we may not recommend it. The ADE chips are designed for metering and non utility applications for energy measurement on electrical lines supporting the 50 Hz/60 Hz standard.
A workaround in the ADE chip is to interpret the 400 Hz as a part of its harmonic (of the 50Hz fundamental), like the ADE7880 which has a harmonic engine BUT I think this is not the best option to do.
