sending a single I2C write command to the ADM1178 works as expected. The ADM1178 returns the ACK as one would expect. If an individual read command is sent, three bytes can be successfully read back, thus it also works as expected.
However when a write command (Start - ADR - W - Data - Stop) is immediately (> 10us) followed by a read (start - ADR - R) the ADM1178 does not send an ACK after the address byte and Read command were sent.
Sending two consecutive write commands (spaced 10us apart works as expected also (meaning the ADM1178 acknowledges every write command).
Are there any special timing conditions that need to be met in order to send an read instruction immediately after a write cmd ?
