    Hi virusman,

I am assuming that you are running IOS application and ADVSC 1.0.2 and see my responses below:

    1. The counters represent the approximate occupancy detected by the Blackfin. Please note that it is an approximation of occupancy, and takes around 8-10 secs to stabilize and may become high when people are in motion.
    2. When the user enables VOS, to calculate CORE usage by VOS value, telemetry information being used. Telemetry window gives the number of cycles used by the firmware algorithm for every frame/image. It gives an indication of the average amount of time taken by the BLIP CPU for processing.
    3. One useful information that is sent from target to host is how many frames are captured by sensor, processed by the target and how many of them are sent to host via USB. For example when you enable VOS and disable VOS after some time, you can see in target message window the following example message: Display Cnt: 200,FrameCnt: 201 Total Frames 203 Dropped frames 1. So, total frames sent to host are 200, number of frames that are processed is 201, total frames captured by sensor is 203 and dropped frames while sending to host are 1. The hexadecimal value gives some debug diagnostic information about the analytics processing and is meant for advanced usage by users to debug or support.

Install the sensor as specified in the section 2.3 BLIP sensor setup. This is available in the document KT-2509_IOS_UsersGuide.pdf. This file is part of IOS product which you can download from the following URL: Indoor Occupancy Sensor, Blackfin | Analog Devices

    Thank You & Regards,
