When I connect a long USB cable to test the system, sometimes the system is unstable. Why is it so?
When you use a long USB cable (say more than 6ft – or 2m) there may be voltage drops along the cable length that may cause instability. If a longer connection is required, we recommend connecting the USB cable to an externally powered USB hub or to use external DC power (5.5 to 36V DC)
