The Blackfin only seems to be able to support 1MB of boot flash because of the
reduced number of address lines. Our present application fits into 2MB so we
were hoping to use 4MB. Is this possible?

The Blackfin supports 4 external asynchronous banks of 1MByte each. You could
certainly use all 4 memory select lines (AMS0-3) to interface to 4MBytes of
FLASH memory. For instance, the flash interface of the ADSP-BF537 EZ-KIT Lite
contains a 4 MB (2M x 16-bits) ST Micro M29W320DB device. Note that some glue
