If you have previously uninstalled VisualDSP++ through Add/Remove Programs, the 'license.dat' file should still remain on your hard drive in the 'System' folder of the VisualDSP++ Installation Directory. If this is the case, this file can simply be copied to the 'System' directory of your new VisualDSP++ Installation.
If, however, the 'license.dat' file has also been removed you will need to re-install any licenses you had previously installed. VisualDSP++ will prompt you to do this on start-up.
NOTE: Test Drive and EZ-KIT Licenses can only be installed once per machine. If you remove the 'license.dat' file you will not be able to re-install these licenses, and under these circumstances you should contact support at processor.tools.support@analog.com.
If you are re-installing due to a hard-drive failure or replacement, you will need to re-register each license with your new Machine ID at the following page on our website: https://www.analog.com/toolsregistration
Further inform ation can be found in the VisualDSP++ Documentation under 'Contents'->'Assistance'->'Software License Management'.
