Hi friends ,
iam using BF-548 can any body help me to make a ldr file with multiple dxe files .
suppose if i have two dxe hello1.dxe and hello2.dxe then how i will make one ldr if i want to execute hello1 and then hello2 ,
whether i have to create one other project to combine the two dxe or i can use hello 1 and then append hello2 to it , i allready went through ee note 272 describing the making of multiple dxe on bf 561 ezlite kit , but iam confused about bf 548 , please tell me how to do this .
The Elfloader will create a loader file from all DXEs specified to it on the command line. So if you have two projects, hello1 and hello2 you should make "hello2" a dependency of "hello1" - so that rebuilding hello1 rebuilds hello2 and produce a DXE from that project before building hello1.
Hello1 should be set as a "Loader File" for the build type then, in the 'Additional Options' under Project Options: Load, add the path and filename for "hello2.dxe". The elfloader command line will then include the 2nd dxe at the end of the loader file.
Sorry for being so late Mr. Craig ,
i tried the example init multidxe code [ visual_dsp++/ldr/init_code/c/ADSP-BF548 EZ-KIT-Lite-Multi-DXE ]
there in a read me file it is written that "
User needs to insert a kind of messaging system (e.g. push button/GPIO signal).
Within the example, the boot mode is used to make the decision, if application 1 or 2 will be bootet.
but i want to execute 1 st application and then 2nd without using any interrupt or any gpio , actually here iam having problem , can u please tell me how can i overcome this , how can i make a ldr for executing both of the application one after one without any user message .
I see you have also sent this request to private support. To avoid duplication of effort, we will deal with it through that channel, and post the outcome here if appropriate.
As per my previous post; you have submitted this to private support, who will be dealing with the request. Please continue to discuss the issue with them, and ask any additional questions you have through that channel. This will allow us to avoid engineers duplicating effort for the same questions in different locations.
The Private Support databases show PR68636, which was passed to the Applications Group (as it is not a tools issue), this was logged as SR#: 1203319, in which you were directed to EE-336, and the associated examples. As there was no further response, this was closed.
Your latest message to private support was logged as SR#: 1203628. This has yet to be assigned, but is open and I cannot see any messages indicating that the issue will be handled on this thread.
As the question is not tools related, this community (the VisualDSP++ Tools Community) would not be the most appropriate place for the discussion. Should the Applications Engineer who picks up your SR feel it best to deal with the issue on the EngineerZone, I will advise them to move this thread to the Blackfin Community and deal with it there.
For now, I would again request that you use the private support channels, either by responding to your initial SR to indicate that the issue is still outstanding, and you have further questions, or to the latest SR indicating your further questions.
