BF514 RSI

Hi ,

I am using the RSI code used in Power on self test .

When i used sandisk 2 GB card the code doesnt comes out from sd_mmc_get_sd_scr_register s following code in rsi.c.

while(!(*pRSI_STATUS & DAT_BLK_END));

But works with all other cards like transcend Kingston and others .

Please let me know with regards to this issue .

Thanking you

With best regards and wishes

  • Hi Craig ,

    I have also asked the same question on the processor support .

    Yes i am using the POST example on custom BF514 target.

    EZ-KIT comes with transcend if i am not wrong.

    I am yet to try on a different sandisk but this card which doesn't work on custom board works fine with PC i even tried formatting on PC and then use it but failed .

    On further investigation i am running into DAT_CRC_FAIL on stutus register and in infinite loop .

    while(!(*pRSI_STATUS & DAT_BLK_END));

    I have tried with the card in the slot before powering up.

    Please let me know with regards to this.

    Thanking you

    With best regards and wishes

    Hi,

    Your title mentions the BF514 - are you using code from the BF518F EZ-KIT Lite POST example on a custom BF514 target? Is the Sandisk 2GB card the one that comes with an EZ-KIT Lite, or a different card?

    Do you have more than one of these Sandisk cards and, if so, is the behaviour the same for all of them?

    Are you inserting the SD card while an application is running, or are you starting the application with the card already inserted? Do either of these approaches have a different effect?

    Regards,

    Craig.
