ADDU-21364-EZLITE CrossCore

Greetings,

I am a MsC student and for my final project I need to do some DSP modulation and my faculty lent me the EVAL board in the subject.

The thing is they don't have, or don't know where to find, the original CD's. I contacted Analog and they gave me a student license in order to use their software.

I was testing CrossCore Embedded and apparently I can't use this software to program this board? Do I really need VisualDSP++ 4.5 and I need another license?

I have spent almost 2 weeks now and I always feel like I reach a dead end and don't know how to proceed.

Thank you,

João

  • Hi,

ADSP-21364 processor supports both CCES and VisualDSP software.

We recommend you to use CrossCore Embedded Studio(CCES) which supports ADSP-21364 processor as you have already have license for CCES. While CrossCore Embedded Studio will be the platform to provide support for future processors. We do not intend to add new features or functionality to VisualDSP++ and we have no plans to discontinue the VisualDSP++ tools or cease supporting them and VisualDSP++ 5.1.2 is the last version to use VisualDSP platform.

CrossCore® Embedded Studio is a world-class integrated development environment (IDE) for the Analog Devices Blackfin®, SHARC® and ARMTm processor families.Employing the latest generation of our mature code generations tools, this EclipseTm based IDE provides seamless, intuitive C/C++ and assembly language editing, code-gen, and debug support.
