EVAL-ADXL345Z-DB ARM C/C++ Compiler Issue

Dear Analog Support:

    I was so excited about getting the EVAL-ADXL345Z-DB as it had just about everything I needed to prototype a product that I am developing. However, when I launched the Keil uVision IDE Tool I get the following error:

"The ARM (t)c/c++ Compiler has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Then I am asked the usual prompt of do I want to send a report to Microsoft or not. I am not sure where the report would go other than an informational blackhole. After uninstalling and re-installing the Keil tool for the EVAL-ADXL345Z-DB platform, the issue still persisted. I am running on Windows XP, but is there a separate step to install the C/C++ compiler or is there something else that I should try other than uninstalling and re-installing the tool?

   I am able to download code to this nice Dev Board using the "uploader" tool.

Regards,

Manny

    Hi Manny,

    This section of the forum is for support of the Embedded Processing and DSP parts. These are limited to the Blackfin, SHARC, TigerSHARC, 21xx and SigmaDSP parts.

    The part you are referring to is one of our Analog Microcontrollers, and we do not currently offer support for these parts here. If you follow the link which Andy gave above, and select "Linear and Data Converters", you can select "Analog Microcontrollers" from the Product Category drop-down on this support form. You will get the support you require from that channel.

    regards,

    Craig.
