when run a sigma studio + project in parallel process mode it fails. When run same project on SC573 and SC589 evaluation boards it works fine in parallel process mode.

Hi

I'm currently trying to run a simple sigma studio project which has 1 x TDM8  input and output at 48KHz to prove that parallel process mode works ok.

I have proved it works on SC573 EZKIT and SC589-MINI boards but when i try it on SC598 it fails.

I have proved all 3  using serial process mode but just having problems with parallel process mode with the SC598.

I have a Dante board connected to  the SC598.

things i have noticed.

if i don't enable any of the inputs of the IO blocks in core 1 and 2 of the sigma studio+ project and just have a signal generator sending out on CH0 it works in core 2 the correct signal and level are present on CH0.

if you refer to the attached photo.

if i just send out on CH1 then the output contains a corrupted sinewave on CH1 (bottom signal) and also a corrupted sinewave on CH0 (top signal) which doesn't even have an output on the schematic !

The attached project may help with description.

It looks like all the data is there but it is being put in the wrong place ??

What  i would be really helpful is someone to test that ANY program can work using parallel process mode using the SC598 SOM board and let me know if it works. It doesn't have to use my project.

I really just need to know if there is an issue with the framework or if i need to look further into what i'm doing.

its just strange i don't have a problem with 2 other SHARC DSP's in parallel process mode using the same framework but i know there are some differences in the operation due to the #if defs due to processor ID

I'm using the Target Demo example code supplied with SigmaStudioPlus-Rel2.2.0

Thanks for any help
