CCES 2.11.1 SS_App fails to run

Hi ,

There are some driver updates in CCES 2.11.0 (TWI, SPORT) requires more framework memory for SigmaStudio for SAHRC, so please increase the framework memory "ADI_SS_CONTROL_FW_ARM_MEMORY" to "11000"

The adi_ss_fw_config.h file will be available in "C:\Analog Devices\SoftwareModules\SigmaStudioForSHARC-SH-Rel4.5.0\Target\Examples\Framework\Include" folder as well.

Now it is working, thank you very much.

If I Browse Examples and generate a new Demo App project, the new memory value 11000U is taken from the software modules as it should.

However, if I make a change in the SigmaStudio project FW Config I need to generate a new adi_ss_fw_config.h file, and this has still the old value of 10832U. 

How can I make SigmaStudio generate a adi_ss_fw_config.h with the updated ARM memory value?

Another comment: If I build the Demo App right after Open Example I get link errors because the path is too long. If I move the Demo App project one step up from the long "examples/sigmastudioforsharc-adspsc58xx.sharc_4.5.0/Demo App" to "examples/Demo App", import it from File System, the link errors are gone.

The adi_ss_fw_config.h file need to be updated manually for extra memory requirement with CCES 2.11.0 version.
Regarding link error this is something limitation with CCES and windows system and the path length should be with in 128 characters. If you use clean build every time the link error won't be there even though the project path length is more.

A follow-up question to the memory modification/update in adi_ss_fw_config.h.

For the Volume_Mute_Block demo, the ARM memory is set to 10832U , and this should be changed to 11000U, a change of 168 units.

When the SigmaStudio project Hardware settings are changed, such as the number of input and output sinks etc., the ARM memory specification in adi_ss_fw_config.h will change. In my modified uC project, the ARM memory value is 12240U as generated by SigmaStudio.

What is the algorithm for setting the new, updated memory value?

The ARM control framework memory can be measured within "adi_ss_arm_fw_Create()" function using "sizeof(tSSARMFWInfo)". The SigmaStudio for SHARC 4.7.0 release with CCES 2.10.1, the framework memory size is 44 bytes lesser than what we got in CCES 2.11.0. So, we need to add 44 bytes with SigmaStudio for SHARC generated "adi_ss_fw_config.h" file.

The value that was recommended is higher, 168 bytes, I guess 44 would be the minimum, it is desirable to have some margin.

Can the addition be any value over 44? Any alignment issues? Probably even, not odd.
