Dear community,
I have a ADSP-SC589 EZ-Board and I would like to program it using SigmaStudio (for SHARC).
What do I need to do that? Extra hardware?
BN
If I understand correctly, the EVAL-ADUSB2EBZ is intended for interfacing this board to SigmaStudio.
Is it essential, or just more convenient, or not necessary at all?
Hi BN,
May I know which version of SigmaStudio and SigmaStudio for SHARC package you are using?
If you are using latest packages, please refer following document from SigmaStudio for SHARC installation folder,
C:\Analog Devices\SoftwareModules\SigmaStudioForSHARC-SH-Rel4.4.0\Docs "AE_42_SS4G_QuickStartGuide.pdf"
You will get to know what are the required HW/SW and how to run program using SigmaStudio and SigmaStudio for SHARC.
Thanks.
Apparently, I have v2.2 and there is no such document there.
I guess I need to update.
I found something similar as the document you refer to.
C:\Analog Devices\Software Modules\SigmaStudioForSHARC-SH-Rel2.2.0\GettingStarted.rtf.
Is this the one you mean?
There is no GettingStarted PDF in Docs, and no SigmaStudioForSHARC-SH-Rel4.4.0.
I have not been able to locate any SigmaStudioForSHARC-SH-Rel4.4.0.in your site.
Anyway, my ADSP-SC589-EZLITE card is not listed in GettingStarted.rtf as compatible hardware.
EVAL-ADUSB2EBZ and ADZS-USBI2EZB are listed.
Do I need one of them or both?
ADSP-SC5XX target application support available in SigmaStudio for SHARC 4.4.0 or later.
Please file a software request in following link to get SigmaStudio for SHARC 4.4.0 or later packages,
