I and trying to determine appropriate tool to create a Project using the SC589.
The requirement is for large channel count.
MCLK 49.152mhz
Sample Rate 48k data 32 bit. on all Sports
Sport x-A TDM32
Sport x-B TDM32
6 Pairs of Sports used.
Thus 384 channels in total in and 384 channels out
However in SigmaStudio for Sharc looks like I cannot choose more than 128 per core?
Is it possible? or do i need to do this in Bare Metal in CCS?
or can Visual DSP be the better tool?

May I know which version of SigmaStudio and SigmaStudio for SHARC package you are using?
May I know which ADSP-SC589 you are using EZ-Kit or custom board?
Bare metal framework modifications needs to be done for TDM configurations if you are using SigmaStudio for SHARC target application. CCES needs to be used for any framework modification on ADSP-SC589.
As you said, even though framework modifications can be done for your requirement, SigmaStudio will support only 128 I/O channels.

SS 4 Sharc Ver 4.4
Since SS 4 Sharc is max 128 then I have to rule this tool out.

There is no other tool to support ADI's ADSP-SC5xx platforms. Typically the Application framework and SigmaStudio designed to demonstrate audio application which will support 128 I/O channels. There are other constraints like memory, MIPS needs to be analyzed for any custom change to be done. You can contact ADI support for any custom framework related queries.
