S/PDIF demo example for ADSP-21489 EZ-Board Sigma Studio

Hello,

I would like to make a simple demo with the demo board ADSP-21489 and Sigma Studio for Sharc to transmit a signal (even a single sine wave) from the PCMX out (ex. PCMX Out2 CH8), receive it from the input PCMX (ex.CH4) and place it on an analog output (i have already placed the jumper JP2).

Does someone can help me or show an example or a schematic that can perform this simple demo?

Greetings
Giovanni

  • Hello,

yes our purpose is to generate a S/PDIF signal (for example a single tone coded S/PDIF) on SPDIF_OUT (J6 on the ADSP-21489 EZ-Board) and, through the loop jumper JP2, read it (SPDIF_IN) and place it on an analog output.
