The A2B Class-D Amplifier Module is an expansion board for the SHARC Audio Module (ADZS-SC589-MINI) that leverages ADI’s low-latency audio A2B bus technology. It features an AD2425W A2B transceiver (serving as an A2B slave) and accepts audio over the A2B bus from the SHARC Audio Module, featuring the same AD2425W A2B transceiver (serving as the A2B master) and the ADSP-SC589 SHARC processor (serving as the A2B host).
The ADZS-AUDIOA2BAMP Module drives the received A2B data to a pair of high-efficiency, digital input, stereo SSM3582 class-D audio amplifiers. Audio is transmitted digitally to the amplifier, minimizing the possibility of signal corruption in digital environments. See the SSM3582 data sheet for more information.
The A2B Class-D Amplifier Module is connected to the SHARC Audio Module using the included A2B twisted-wire-pair cable.
